ABOVE = 4 X ACTUAL SPLASHY PAINTINGS, DONE SINCE 1.1.2022
(The hearts on them are due to my jussquick method, of snapping them from faves in ‘photos’ app.)

TIMES…. WE ARE ROUND AGAIN TO ANOTHER MERCURY RETRO PHASE.
TIME IS OFTEN IN MY THOUGHTS – NEW YEAR, 2022. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU, WHO READS THIS – ONCE I GET IT DONE, + OUT THERE, TO BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES.
THAT’S A PHRASE MY DEAR DEPARTED DAD USED TO SAY. IN A FUNNY VOICE:
“Before Your Verrrrry Eyes!”
– LIKE A CRAZED MAGICIAN MIGHT. IT MAY HAVE BEEN FROM A CHARACTER HE KNEW.
ANYWAYS, SAID FATHER HAS BEEN ON MY MIND, NOT LEAST OF ALL BECAUSE HIS WOULDABIN 100TH WILL HAPPEN IN MARCH.
I AM PLANNING ON PUTTING SOME OF HIS LOVELY PHOTOGRAPHS ON HERE, AS A WEE CENTENARY CELEBRATION.
I HAD COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF HIS SLIDES, + SOME PHOTOS, LAND IN MY HOME, AT THE END OF LAST YEAR.
IT’S A LONG STORY, BUT ANYWAYS THEY ARE HERE NOW.
THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY FOR ME TO TACKLE AND HANDLE BY MARCH. BAR-DROPPING IS A GOOD SKILL, I AM LEARNING. ALONG WITH SPINNING-PLATE DROPPING.
ALAS, A MULTI-BOXED MOUNTAIN OF OTHER PHOTOS I’VE INHERITED ALSO LANDED.
NOT SO WONDROUS FOR ONE WHO WAS SO VERY NEAR TO A DEEPLY-CLUTTER-CLEARED HOME, WITH SPACES.
THEY AWAIT MY ATTENTION. IT’S A JOB. I’LL GET TO IT…..
ENDLESS DISCERNMENT REQUIRED, FOR THAT ONE.
I’D PREFER TO JUST GET TO THE SLIDE-WORK, REALLY – BUT THE CLUTTER ELEMENT OF TOO MANY OLD PHOTOS IS LOUD. I EXPERIENCE CLUTTER IN MY HOME AS ‘LOUD’, NOW.
MEANWHILE, IN OTHER NEWS, I AM BASICALLY HIBERNATING. WHICH ENTAILS JUST BEING IN FREE-FLOW TIME, AS OFTEN AS I MAY. IT’S NOT DORMANT. INDEED, IT’S PRETTY DYNAMIC. I’VE A TON OF NEW DISCOVERIES I’D LIKE TO SHARE. I’LL MAKE ANOTHER POST FOR THAT. THIS IS PROBABLY ENOUGH YABBERING FOR ONE POST, EH.
JUST TO END, I WANT TO PUT THOSE PICS AGAIN, WITH THEIR HAIKU. IT’S A NEW THING I’M PLAYING WITH – MAKE THE PIC, THEN MAKE THE HAIKU. HERE THEY ARE.

I love these! It’s a very January in Colorado palette, and perfect with the Haiku. Good on you for doing as Mercury in retrograde asks and wading through the old photos!
Thank you, lovely Yolie! Always a joy to hear from you. x x x
